Aluminium, wood, resins and plaster are just a few of the materials used for the manufacture of patterns. The Pattern Forme (PFL) team will always utilize the material best suited to the job in hand. Work on patterns for general engineering, foundry, architectural and decorative works coexist alongside specialist patterns for the plastics thermoforming industry. Whether using sophisticated design software and state of the art machining processes or traditional hand crafting techniques, the company’s pattern makers work in close partnership with both the client and design team throughout the project. Using in-house vacuum forming technology the company has the capability to produce sample and prototype mouldings, including deep draw moulding requiring plug assist techniques. Quantities from 5 to 5000 can be produced for viewing by a clients customer or for in line trials or product testing.
